The rating is purely for the smoothies which are amazing! I got 50% sweetness for Taro and the Strawberry smoothie and it was one of the best tasting smoothie ever!

Fresh bakery store. They have variety pastry , bread and birthday cake. Price is reasonable.
This is a fantastic Asian bakery it's clean and all their pastries are packaged individually. I love their Coconut Raisin Bread it's my favorite when I come here. Most importantly the staff is friendly and it's conveniently located in the Westfield Arcadia mall.

Food from a place i once visited in Japan, it's a very close version of MR. DONUT. But so close, now their service was top notch. I added something last second, they were kind. The circle donut was very close to the mochi kind from Japan. It's a good version, really do enjoy the yummies when you're in the good mood for a gentle sweet flavor, not to overwhelm you but to sooth you. Have a good coffee and enjoy your delicious pastry of a flavor filled yummies.
New bakery has just opened inside the Santa Anita mall. They have a few of my favorite things. The hottest pastry right now is the Korean cheese garlic bread. It’s trending on the internet right now. Everybody is talking about it. It’s indeed very good with cream cheese and garlic butter. We bought one to share among ourselves as the cream cheese was too rich for me to eat it alone. Another popular item here is the boba tart. It seems like nowadays, everything is good with boba. The tart was not too bad and the bobas in it were very tender and chewy. I also bought a strawberry cupcake. The cupcake was very fluffy. It reminded me of the paper egg cupcake I had in other Chinese bakeries. The bakery is also having a promotion going on for their boba milk tea, buy one and get one for free. I don’t know how good is their boba milk. Will try it next time.
Ordered an Almond Croissant, Custard Danish, Bolo, and a Medium Ube Taro Cold Brew Latte. The Almond Croissant was very light in texture and the powdered sugar was just the right amount. The Custard Danish was very good too with a generous sweet custard filling. And the Bolo was very airy too, again a pretty good pick here. The Latte was very good, make sure to mix well or use a straw because the ube seems to be denser than the coffee and will separate. Once you've got them mixed, the ube's sweetness does complement the coffee quite well. The size is pretty good for a medium though I'll have to remember to order less ice next time (personal preference), not a complaint about the amount of ice given.
I came out in here out from the rain on a Sunday afternoon trying to get in a little walk. Unexpectedly, there were a ton of people shopping and going about their business, but one place that caught my eye was a little café at the top of the stairs, Sunmerry Bakery. I noticed they had a good selection of drinks so I decided to have a Boba so since it’s been a while. I went for the honey tea since that’s what I usually like as a regular hot drink, but decided to go outside my comfort zone. Everyone was really friendly and there was no line. There were plenty of pastries and delicious looking breads, but decided against it since I’ve been working out lately. I got my drink and she gave me that thick straw that punches through the plastic which I find so satisfying. Soon as I took a sip, there was a large back up at the bottom of the cup and couldn’t get anything. I blew out the straw and got a nice sip of that honey tea which is also delicious. Once I got my sea legs back, I was drinking up the Boba. It was so good. There’s definitely a process to this. I found them a little bit on the chewy side, but it just made them last longer. I’ll be definitely be coming back here more often for the friendly service and a little dry time if it’s raining.
Really nice bakery that has a huge selection of delicious and affordable pastries. They are all individually bagged for convenience and there are lots of sweet and savory options. They also have drinks, cakes, and Melo Melo jelly as well.
